About

As a bridge walker, I sizzle at indignant colonial social constructs and buoy with narratives of recovery and restoration. I seek to find coherence in the incoherent – building new language while re-rooting in the ideological, ephemeral and real language of my indigenous relatives. I meditate on healing through expressions of cosmic biology and geometry, provoking with color, and speaking the aches and yearnings of growth in congruent micro and macro experiences. I paint fertility amidst futility, the nature of being human living in personal and cultural dissonance and work to re-map human will on universal design. Surrealism, parable and love for humanity feed my appetite for research and storytelling.  I create to ground and celebrate the essential, utilizing the visual language of painting to provoke dialogue and empathy.
